How to join the gavel club of the pines
Semester membership in the the Gavel Club of the Pines is just $25 for the first child and $20 for each additional sibling. This price includes the first two manuals, Competent Communication and Competent Leadership. These manuals should take about two semesters to complete.
Once those first books are completed, members will be asked to purchase additional required Toastmaster International manuals for use in our club meetings. This cost is in addition to the standard membership fees. These manuals generally cost around $10 and last for approximately 12 projects (about 2 semesters).
We are currently taking registration for the Fall 2013 semester.

All school-aged homeschool students ages 11- 18 (6th grade through 12th grade) are welcome to join Gavel Club of the Pines to learn and practice public speaking and leadership training. Homeschooling has lots of exceptional students. If your child is mature and advanced in his or her studies, but slightly under the age range, yet interested in participating, please contact a coordinator to discuss a possible special waiver. Students must be capable of actively participating in a two hour meeting without disruption to others.
This group is not only educational, but a lot of fun.
